Augusta – Senator Scott Cyrway (R-Kennebec) had an impressive, nearly perfect attendance record in the Senate this year. He was present for 99.8 percent of the hundreds of roll call votes taken.

“The voters sent me to the State House to do a job, and do it well,” said Senator Cyrway. “That is why I make sure I am in my seat to vote on the many important issues that come before lawmakers.”

From January to July, roll call votes were held on matters ranging from the state budget to welfare reform to education policy.

Senator Cyrway is currently serving his first term in the Maine Legislature. He is the Chair of the Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Veterans and Legal Affairs and is also a member of the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee.
